bar a few electrical gremlins (see tech section) it should hopefully be mot'd by this time next week.. unfortunatly the insurcance will have to wait till the start of june as my sister had a little miss hap in the Golf on her way home and had a disagreement with the back of the vicar's wifes C3 still never mind..
Mini wise its mostly done just the last few bits to do

Now the mini is on the road the exhaust kept coming off the hanger so i have for the time being soild mounted it to save me some time in having to keep getting out with a cloth to rehang the exhaust.
been out for a drive today after fitting my new front speakers

and heres the pictures of the poor golf that had a little rear end fun with an 09 plate c3 but its all shiney now

and the space i had to get back onto the drive tonight teach people to park there cars (there are ones behind the big truck)

So here are a pic or two of the day when we parked up at Blackpool

On the way home thug got a little warm and concked out so me and jack (rimmer) had to push it to the next street where she restarted (think the rain had something to do with it though)
so a few jobs to do this week if time permits
order and fit a new thermostat
fit the new radiator and wire in the electric fan to a separate switch

Need to order the new manifold and pipe to the CAT so that my drive to SMD via Basingstoke will be a little more pleasent than with it sounding like tank.
Clinky
so this is what i am going to order well, more like im phoning them monday (sport) and collecting tuesday

also ive bought this to make the engine bay look a little more origional Stickers it looks rather good, so can't wait to get it fitted

Also went to pay the Mechanic for the service £150 later not too bad but not a full service this time

Managed to change the radiator and fan sensor switch at the weekend (just gone) i bought the stuff to do this in January and Bingley but as yet hadn't got round to it - yet another job i was puting off.. so here's the photos - enjoy (its nice to get your hands dirty once in a while)
Open wide Miss Thug ..

ahh yes it is a little past it isnt it - that would explain the hotflushes

now safety first and all ..

take the wheel off to get better access to that odd looking tank by the damper you say ..

oh my all gone ! see that didn't hurt did it now ..

old and new sport the difference

nearly ready ..

hold still ..

good lord thats clean !

good lord ! radioactive or what ?!

sofar so good

Then on the way home from having said exhaust fitted it (the mini) decided enough was enough in the 3rd lane (next to the barrier) on the M55 heading towards Blackpool part of the wiring loom decided to commit suicide and head for the mechanical fan thus resulting in the RAC and a new pair of undies for bambi

Then its been plane sailing managing to do 1,000 miles in two weeks the mini made it to SMD and IMM

Thug even managed to bring some wheels back for robbie clever mini

but last night she blew a fuse due to her chrome boot light

its been behaving bar the last couple of weeks where the running has become a little rough so time for some redex in the carb to blast it out..
Its been dropped off at the mechanics to have the new disc's and pads fitted to the front so hopefully she'll be more firm

then its polish time also need to get on with finishing the waxoyling too
Oh and its rusted already :cries: not happy so I phoned the guy and hes looking at it this week
