Nice. Your garage looks about as big as my garage. Do you have a carpet on the wall to stop the door banging?

I do on the passenger side yes as i live in fear of pranging it on the wall.. i am going to get round to sorting out the drivers side of the garage (storing everything properly) and capeting that wall too so it protects the doors.. i got the carpet out of my uncles flat after he had it cleaned! - only a few £ per meter from a budget carpet shop but worth its weight in gold - quick hoover and were sorted - the garage floor is painted too but carpets warmer :D

Right Time for an update I think:

So we have been to a Rolling Road at MiniSport - we achieve a whopping 54.5 bhp >_< so thats a whole 4.5bhp increase on two years ago - not bad for a new exhaust and a carb rebuild (possibly also todo witht hte removal of the catalytic convertor)

Anywho, some Pictures from the rolling road (will try to get the video up too):

Then I went inside MiniSport to the shop (yup time to splash the plastic - it was payday)
So I decided that I needed to treat Thug to a new carpet and mat set - as the carpet that she had was donated and the lack of an MPI fusebox was starting to irritate me
So that was promptly fitted on the Saturday evening - a good end to the day I thought:

Then it was time to look at the wheel arches and subframe area pre mot - i've decided to tart it up for L2B and the MOT just after L2B.
so Ill let the Pictures to the talking:

After that its going to be a wuick prep ready for L2B and the fitting of another earth strap as I had removed it a few weeks back when i'd fitted the engine steady replacement kit - just need to check the adjust ment of the others and stop the exhaust rattle - where its from i dont know!
SO once thats done I can set of to Meet Roo ready for the L2B convoy >_< so all good. :shifty: good mini

well not a lot has really happened in the world of Thug in the last few months other than attending a few shows here and there that is about it ..

Had a few odf issues where she's been koncking out after being filled up at the petrol station - thats just a dodgy wire so thats been sorted.

Shes going for a service tomorrow at 8:30am - Im taking my camera so i can take pictures of her underneath as i havent seen this propely in the 4 years that i have owned her so I thought it would be about time that I got a good look at her.

Sadly the passenger sill is on its way out all ready so this I think is going to need some serious welding, along with finding the leek on the drivers side..

the dash has been resprayed in black also - needs sanding down and finishig off - this will be done on wednesday whilst waiting for my new phone to arrive.

There are engine mods aloft too but in the future Im thinking .. SPI/MPI injection (maybe auto) with modified cam, diff and rockers with new sensors etc.
This should allow the current engine to sit for a while and get a full rebuild and a few tweeks for when I want it back in - Thugs reaching the 90 thou marker by the end of the summer so the other engine is going to be coming next summer really before the current one decides enough is enough - but all will have to wait untill after my teaching practice please!

Will update tomorrow with photos!

THanks
