I did as well.
I had scrambled egg on toast.
The taste of victory.

Small FWD cars storm up the leader board on the Rally circuit on the few real road stages that still exist. Also, even in some of the humble motors I've driven there are plenty of sections of road where you spend more time on the stop rather than go pedal just keeping in contact with the tarmac and even when you can push on, doing it too hard produces as much wheel spin as forward momentum. A Mini can still take straighter lines and has less mass to be held on to the tarmac than most.

3.0tdi A4 the other day had two little 0-30...off the line races with from some lights, neck and neck with me creeping past eventually.
Various BMWs, Audis, Mercs, but no serious sports car would have atrouble beating a Mini after 2nd gear.
NOTE: May contain sarcasm, and nuts.

everyone likes a race now and then, if we didn't then we'd all be driving exactly the same car with exactly the same engines, that's why we buy bigger engines, new suspension etc. to go faster.
give the guy a break

Needless to say her Mum was too busy mopping up dribble & mucous to be able to take it on in a Traffic Light Drag Race.

It was a sexual moment.

I have a 1.8 non turbo and that can about keep up with the Calibra. I hardly think this guys Mini is gonna keep up with the Scoob, unless he couldn't see you in the rear view, in which case he wasn't racing.
You'll know if he was racing you because one second he'd be there, the next he's gone.
I've had a go against a few STI's in our redtop Nova (AHEM) and some times I've won, sometimes they have. A 1380 Mini is unlikely to keep up, let alone win.

So what if he raced, everyones does it a one point, if he gets caught, its his fault, no one elses.
And the guy with the MR2, why are you on here if you don't have a mini?

A mini can go as fast as you want i to go, it just depends how far you willing to dig into your pockets.

He had one 5 years ago. Did you not read the other equally pathetic post about 'If you don't have a Mini why are you here'?
