A baseball bat would say the same thing, but with a more 'direct' approach, and would probably recieve a more 'swift' response! :cheese:"look, its been three months now, rust is beginning to appear already, and this anti-chip stuff you put on is terrible, it looks awful and obviously hasn't done its job properly, can you sort it out please?"

From the other pictures you've put up of her she looks lovely but that front end.....

Definitely see if they will do anything to correct it for you - They may not but it's worth the try. One of my friends uncles has a garage and he said from when a customer leaves his premises (on completion of whatever theyre having done)they're obviously happy with the work he's done otherwise they would say so at the time in which case he would try and rectify it then
It's up to the garage really it's not in there interest really to redo it for you it just depends if you get a nice man or not who's understanding
Good luck

im not sure about where it's coming from on the bit by the headlight, but it's starting to come through a little further round the wing aswell, so that bit isn't from the headlight! but i'll have a check at the headlight rust in day light?Just a thought, is that rust coming from the mini or the headlight surround?!?
yea cheers for your comments Britney, you've got a point there, i should have prob said something at the time i picked it up! ah well, like you said it's worth a try! ill see what he says!

Yea the more I look at the front end, the more I think he's just sprayed over the white paint, as I can see white coming through underneath it. :nugget:i bought my first mini from the same garage. he was supposed to replace the front end and respray. 4 months later rust bubbles started to apear. he'd actually filled the holes and replaced only one panel and he'd done a very poor job of that! i now use surf blue garage eastwood. hope you get it sorted out.
andy.
Anyway, yesterday Mum and Dad came to pick her up and took her home, as she's quickly getting worse, her headlights come on when I brake and for some reason when I actually put the lights on (in the dark or anytime of day for that matter) the tail lights don't work and the brake lights are on constantly!

Also more rust is quickly coming through the paint on the front end and I noticed on the other side at the front the silver paint is cracking and I can see white underneath it!!!
So next plan of action is.....Mum is going to take Babs to Surf Blue, who have done some work on her before, but unfortunately don't do spraying, and they're really good down there, Mum's just going to ask Geff, to see whats wrong but not actually do anything and also see what he suggests about the front end, and then at the weekend, we're going to go and see the man at Nottingham Mini Centre and tell him what is wrong and see what he says!
