Yea Unca Jeff, is ace! Mum rang him up today, and he says that the lights sound like there is a broken wire in the electricals bit somewhere, but for him to fix it, it'll take a couple of hours and then we'l be paying for his labour (which aslong as he does a good job, I dont mind) He's also giving us a receipt for the work we had done in december, which cost £40, so we can take that to Nottingham Mini Centre and prove that the way he left the lights is unacceptable.hi pixie...i was at unca jeffs today...he doesn't do spray jobs but he does use a couple of guys to do his painting, who are real good, thats who is doing mine for me..... jeff said that "he might be expensive but thats because he doesn't do C**p jobs" lol..... i can vouch for that, he wouldn't weld katie up as it wouldn't be worth it...it's nice to have an honest bloke
Dad is ringing him (Nottingham Mini Centre) up as I type, so I'll have another update shortly!

Also, on another note, I'm heading home this weekend, so will hopefully *fingers crossed* be able to attempt to put the new speakers in!

Turns out the whole lights coming on when i braked etc was being caused by some dodgy red bulbs, he tried her with some clear white blubs and she worked fine, so on the way home we stopped off and got some new bulbs! I got some LED ones, they look quite good actually, will take a picture when it's dark, to show u how bright they are!
On the matter of the front end, I showed it him and mentioned that you guys had said that it really shouldn't be happening yet. He said that the rust was coming through from the other side (as in inside the shell) and coming through the paint and on the other side where the paint is cracking and i can see white underneath, apparently thats the anit chip underneath, because he didnt let it dry properly so it's shurnk the paint?!?!?something like that anyways! he said he'd sort it out for me, but would prefer to do it when the weather is finer, so to go back nearer april!
in the mean time, i'm going to try and keep her as dry aspossible, so im going to smile sweetly at my grandma and see if she'll mind me barrowing her garage. it'll be a bit of a pain in the ass as she's not really in walking distance, if i want to use the car, but ill be away at uni, so it wont really matter anyway!
pictures of the lights to follow!
