hi ive just been reading through this topic and couldn't help noticing that barberas wheel arches look more blue than purple! are they a different colour or is i just the way the light catches them on the pics?

do u mean are they a different colour to the roof? or jus a different colour to purple? :nugget:
they've been sprayed in renault virbarent (spelling) blue, but i still think it looks kinda purple which is the colour i wanted :grin:

ok then, fair enough she is part rover quick silver, part renault vibrant blue

have had a successful day so far.....I washed and polished and hoovered etc Babs earlier, I also decided to clean the bottum section of her rear lenses.......as i was sick of them looking like this.....

clear on top...slightly green on bottum


jus look at the dirt on that :sick:


so, they came off


she's looking a bit naked :gasp:

Next up was out with the old in with the new..........Speakers! :grin:

One Speaker....which looks like the previous owners may have stuck in with chewing gum....lush!

I would now have pictures of me putting the new ones in, only I'm going to wait until I've replaced the window seals because I noticed that the piece of wood that the speakers were on was actually going moldy it was soooo wet :sick:

I have some, but I am not so sure about them really.

Seeing yours has sort of persuaded me to keep them, as mine will be silver too (only a likkle bit darker than Babs).

I like the look of them just like that... make a completely clear lense to cover them to stop the rain damage and that would look cool :cool:

my word you have been busy today i thought i did well just cleaning it and putting the sliver surrounds for the number plates and fixing the bonnet catch nice and clean

Man alive, my grandma keeps so much rubbish! Have just been down to see if Babs would fit in her garage and we had to take two trips to te tip in order for Babs to be able to fit in!!

But she did so thats it now, no Babs until end of March when I home for a month at Easter! Mean while Mum and Dad will nip down once a week to give her a little run about and then put her back in. Least this way her rust on't get any worse! Yay!

But I'll miss her
