Just read all 19 pages, and one question remains:
"Has the weather warmed enough for a pic; with your babs?"

Na, what I really wanted to add was about the work this 'mini specialist

I read that you agreed with them that they would remove, and repair, any rust found on the bodywork before applying the paint. This is clearly NOT the case: You did NOT request they apply any additional 'protection' to the front of Babs - So why did they do it? and more importantly- why the fluck didn't it work!!!
ANNNDdddd, they could have repaired that little dent in babs' arse....
"I shuddered when you mentioned they were going for that 'fiberglass' look on the bulkhead" Hhmmmm
I think many of us reading this would have differing opinons on how to resolve this

< just to add my solution would involve a large hammer, and a little swinging action of my left arm!>
Just to lock the stable door... First, always get aleast 3 quotes from different garages. Then it is always prudent to ask for a written quote, to include a brief summary of work proposed. They shouldn't refuse if you'll going to spend a sizable amount of money with them.
Not only give you some address if things go t1ts-up, but can also help prove your minis 'worth' to the bast@rd insurers if the worst happens and you need to claim.
Heres wishing that babs gets a proper going over next time shes in: and heres hoping for some warmer weather, and splendid pics....

As for the getting the 3 quotes, I did get three quotes, and if I remember correctly it may well have got four before I actually decided upon using this garage, and I went with other peoples opinions aswell, so didn't go into it lightly! Just so happens that it didn't work out too well in the end, but he is fully prepared to rectify (spelling) it!
So we'll just see how it goes!
