Man alive, my grandma keeps so much rubbish! Have just been down to see if Babs would fit in her garage and we had to take two trips to te tip in order for Babs to be able to fit in!!

Any room in your grans garage for another mini?? :tongue:

K, Little update on the Babs situation!

After an a rather poshly worded email was sent to Nottingham Mini Centre, from a friend, some confusion has been cleared up....

He's going to do the work for free :grin: which I originally didn't realise, thought I'd have to pay! He's also going to sort out my poorly arche! I'm also going to ask him if he would replace the window seals for some new ones, which will mean i can then put the new speakers in and the rear door cards, which I haven't done before because i dont want them to be ruined by the leaking!

Yay! But none of this is happening till April! Ah well, I'm busy at uni until then anyway, so it doesn't really matter! :grin:

Just nipped over to the Grandma's (to see her of course, has nothing to do with me wanting to see the mini ) Managed to find the garage key and take Babs out for a quick spin! Took a couple of piccies aswell....

Here's her all tucked up in the garage...


Her just after her ickle spin in the sunshine.... (was only meant to be taking her for a little spin round the block, but when I got back to my grandma's house I decided that I just needed to drive her a ickle bit longer, heehehe, so took a bit further!!!)

another lil update...
im home for easter now, so have got babs from grandma's as im going to need her to get to work n back!
had a little look at the rust on the front, seems to be getting slightly worse! so im going to get on the phone to the man at nottingham mini centre tomorrow to ask about her going back in as soon as!
another thing i want to try and get sorted over easter is......
new window seals all round
rear opening windows (thanks to marc, will be in touch soon about those and also will get the non opening ones ot u as soon as!!)
speakers in and working!
get an alarm and get it installed!!
so there;s my plans for easter, doubt ill get them all done!

another plan for a little futher in the future is new alloys and arches, am thinking 6x12 superlites with grp2 extra wide arches......but not definately settled on that just yet! gotta be saving them pennies up first!
