Update:

Turns out my wiring skills are pretty good! Got the front sat over the car now, and I wired up the headlights and indicators, all working fine!
Had two fuses to replace, as I didn't have any lights on the drivers side, but they're fine now.

Fron't held up by the axle stands just to keep it level...ish.
I'm quite proud though, think it looks awesome!

Going to as a mate of mine to help me out with the actual fit, need to trim bits down to make it fit the scuttle properly. Not looking forward to that bit!

I'm not really sure yet, what do you think would be best?
I was thinking about the electric sander we have, but that'd take ages! And I really don't fancy going at it with the grinder.. ;)

Underseal on the bonnet is now dry, and I'm pleased with the result! Was my first time using it, and I just slapped it all on with a brush. Not as messy as I thought, just stinks!

Bonnet:

Thats the stuff I use, cheap stuff, but does te job perfectly, keep up the good progress

Sand paper really doesnt take that long trust me. I was using a high grit paper when I was doing the headlight holes and it really didnt take long.

Better to take off too little, than too much ;)

What did you cut the hole with? & do you have to be careful about cracking it?

I used a drill and whacked about 50 holes in the rough headlight hole shape, then finished it off with the sand paper. I tried to use my Pro rotary tool (cheap dremel) but the discs where crap and didnt really cut through it.

Also, wear a mask people ;)

Yeah I see, I was a litte drunk, so excuse me for that. ;)

I'd also advise wearing a mask! I didn't when I drilled the holes for the headlight fitting etc, and it stinks!
