Nice one, need some pics though!

Got any specs for the engine?? I'm hoping to get some tasty bits for mine at MITP, because the standard 1275 with the HIF38 carb is pretty pants...

Looking forward to some more updates!

Cheers, Paul.

Pics will arrive one day....just not today sorry :P The engine is the same lump that I originally had, just cleaned all the crap out of, not sure of the exact spec besides its an 1293 with a HIF44, then I fancied changing the clutch over so I did

Where on earth did you find that Pirelli banner? And which companies did you email to get the stickers? I'd love some of that stuff for my garage!

The Pirelli banner I got from a rally I marshalled at in the Isle of Man, was going to just grab one of the cloth ones which were around but the sponsorship guy offered me that so I jolly well took it and went home happy :mrcool: Stickers from companies is a case of just emailing around and seeing who is willing to send you some in the post (helps if you say your using their products on your car!)

Well basically this update is just to let you know I'm still alive and continuing to build the mini with which I have come along way with but unfortunetely without a camera, I've just been continuously going down after work and getting a cheeky couple of hours in (just got home from there now). Where I'm up to since my last update is as follows;

-Engine in the front subframe
-Brake and fuel pipes main feed connected to the mini
-Subframe bolted to the car
-Rear subframe built up consisting of goodridge pipes, AGX shocks, refurbished radius arms and KAD rear discs
-Rear subframe fitted and handbrake cable connected
-Front disc's and calipers fitted
-Front shocks mounts fitted followed by AGX shocks
-Stainless steel Maniflow manifold and carb fitted

I'm sure there is more but I've been taking my time with it anyway just to make sure everything is present and correct. I've just put an order into DSN Classics so I should have a couple of engine steadies on there way to me along with a little treat for the mini general, will let you know when it arrives.

Will get some pictures tomorrow (as said previously) and hopefully have a colourful update for you to see.

Thanks for reading if you made this far :-

Thank you for the positive comments, pics will be given in my next update!

Cheers for the encouragement Steve (with the sly smugness haha) Your right I really don't, it's been over 2 years since I've been in a running mini!

The boot rubber I'm at a loss with, will post something in the Problems section in mo. The wiring I would like to be borrowing you sooner rather than later since it is getting to that stage and the days are quickly becoming shorter and a hell of a lot colder! I've just got to find a second hand loom to adapt.

Of which if anyone has got a loom they have ripped out their mini and don't want and are selling cheap give me a PM please!

Thanks for the comments everyone, much appreciated >_<

MiniLandy: I've only got 2 bits from KAD and that's the rear disc conversion and I've also got a quickshift to put on. The calipers are Minisport and the rest of the alloy parts are DSN Classics. Lovely stuff.

analogue_radio: They are genuine W&P arches, will send you a PM in a sec.

minimaff: The alloy door furniture is a new product from DSN Classics, had to special order for the red though (timed it lucky as it only took a day longer to get my order)

As you saw before I'm overhauling the gear selector and radiator cowling, so the next jobs are to spray up the cowling and get the gear selector connected. Also got to finish off handbrake and adjust it to suit.

Still looking for a wiring loom, if anyone can help please PM me.
