Time for another update

Well yesterday I got round to finally fitting the petrol tanks and they look mega! Especially with the Aston caps

Annoyingly forgot the camera though, so they will have to wait till next time for a pic. Also the necks of the tanks could do with a bit of a rub down and repainting as I didn't expect as much neck showing as there is but that's a simple fix.
Today's efforts was a bit of a high and a low to be honest but I'm pleased with what I've done. Started off with the pedal box refurb since I'm going back to the original setup now. This included sourcing another box frame as I had somehow lost mine, so a call to Dale off here sorted that. Rubbed them all down and gave them a nice coat of primer;

Then a top coat but it started raining, so could do with another coat ideally next time I get a chance;

Next job was the front drivers window which is where it all went a bit down hill. I had minor scratches on my front windows (I had sourced 3 different ones over the course of the project) and tried fixing them with a kit from Machine Mart, would it work, would it F*CK! So now I have 3 front windows, all with minor scratches but would still annoy me no end so gonna have to get a new one from Moss this week me thinks

Oh well these things happen.....especially when it comes to minis.
On a better note is my recent buying spree which has been very enjoyable but now have my bank account screaming at me "no more, pleaseeeee!".
Got myself a retro cigarette

Then more exciting things is my stereo setup

A Infinity Reference 5350a Amp, it's bloomin heavy!

Genesis Audiophile 30.01 Sub

Genesis P13 Mids and Tweeters

Set of 6 RCA to RCA leads

Under Dash Stereo Holder

And finally but certainly by no means least; a Pioneer DEH-P88RS-II!!! Looks the nuts

Then I've also bought an old Butlers Rally Map Light which I'm very happy with

I shall update again next week now even if it's just to update with the Bingley Hall purchases

Cheers
Chris
