Cardboard did cross my mind lol, im still thinking about those front arches, still can't think of any good/viable solutions though. For now it will stay as is.thats ace!!

more pics!
Will try getting some more pics at the weekend.
However the trailer will be on the back burner for a few weeks, my car needs some engine tlc, the other needs a head gasket change and a new front end, and the other needs some more welding and putting back on its wheels! Im going to be a busy bee over the next few weeks!

Does everyone else share my liking of it?
Can i be honest now..
Although i do like the idea of it, concept looks good and different, i have to say from the pics the finish looks terible mate
What did you paint it with?

Fair comment, I agree - at the moment the finish isn't great. It hasn't been flatted back or polished at all yet so currently its not up to scratch. It was sprayed in a garage too which didn't help. My only concern at the time was to get it painted to prevent rust and match the car. One day it will be nice and sparkly but im in no rush.
It was never built to be perfect, more to be functional, it wasn't made to be a show piece either just to make people smile and because I can. For these reasons I didn't spend anywhere near as much time as I did on my car with things like grinding off the welds and getting it perfectly smooth - I'd be there months for that and its really not worth the effort in my books!
Thanks for the feedback, all feedback welcome good or bad

Got one project thread for the head gasket case, but only put it up last week when I collected the car and as yet done nothing to it. My other car doesn't have a thread yet, its a clubby estate chopped down to be a pick up with a 1750 austin maxi engine. (I bought it like this, don't worry I didn't destroy a clubby!) So far thats had new floor pans, inner sills, outer sills, new front end, strengthening, subframe mounting points, pretty much the whole of the underneath has been replaced! Had it 18 months, progress is slow Lol. My third is the red one shown in the pics which seems to break something every time something else has been fixed!

Saw this on sunday mate, made be buzz, loved it, and jsut weld the front so it lookes like a 3 wheeler mini (could even us a trailer wheel as the 3rd wheel lol)

LOL a three wheeler would be a sight! However I think it might put too much strain on the towing bar due to the extra friction etc.
The towing bar is attached to the sub frame, it hasn't caught on anything (yet) and I think (or more hope) that it won't due to the positioning of the wheels/tow bar and the pivot point in relation to that. Been over speed humps and bumpy roads though and it was fine.

Why not do something diff and hit it with black board paint, then you can write all sorts of stuff on it, could be cool

Lol, yea its a bit different! Haven't got any pics, they were on my old phone which is broken so I have lost all of the pictures showing the progress made etc

But I will get a thread going once I get back onto it, it hasn't been touched for about 6 months now, other things keep getting preference!

No offence taken, its nice to have constructive criticism aswel as good!
Black board paint sounds different, any idea where to get it from? Might do the bonnet in it or something

You can get it from most hardware shops, I've got a tin at home, quite hard wearing, though best written on with black board markers rather then chalk, (to get it nice and bright), also don't forget chalk will wash off in the rain, and you can't lacquer over blackboard paint and still write on it.
I'm not sure how waterproof it is, maybe best to get a waterproof layer under the blackboard paint!
