There is no way on this earth I could ever see this getting past the dream stage.

I hope I'm wrong, it would interesting to see the result.


But anyone who's designing the heated gearknob before they have any idea whatsoever of how they're likely to get enough strength into the car to a) stop it breaking in half under the weight of the powertrain, and b) turning banana shaped when you plant the throttle, is probably not in a position to finish something of this sort.

Like I say, hope I'm wrong, we'll see. I also hope the estate shell doesn't get cut up only to be weighed in a year or two later when the person involved realises there's no chance whatsoever of completing the "extreme" engineering task they set themselves. Too mahy good shells go that way.. :)
