Looking good mate, lots of welding, you must have a great welders tan.

Must have a very empty pocket now after buying all those hertiage panels.

If the wings and front panel I already have fit ok then I'm down to the last 5 panels to purchase

Scuttle
N/S/F inner wing
Closing plate
A panel
A panel strengthener

Phase 1 (Welding) is now coming to completion
Phase 2 (Restore interior) is also nearly done, just 4 more pieces to strip and redo (and you all thought I watched tele at nights )
Phase 3 (Paint prep) Not Started
Phase 4 (Paint) Not Started
Phase 5 (Rebuild engine) Not Started
Phase 6 (Subframes etc) Not Started
Phase 7 (Electrics) 50% completed
Phase 8 (Rebuild) Not Started

Phase 9 Get it to Mini World Action Day 2009 @ Combe

Thanks all for the kind words

Not much tonight, just repairing the hole that was cut into the floor for the remote gearstick. This won't be required as its going back to a magic wand

Before

Repair piece bent to shape

Welded in, excuse the messy welding tonight

nice thread.
the mk4 rear panels fitted really well. are they the same roughly then there are no major changes in those pannels.
i live the idea of an 850 with 50bhp. That sounds awesome. i know how you feel with not watching TV at nights. i find my self stripping and rebuilding all the necesary engine and braking bits to get mine back on the road lol.
keep it up will be done very soon.

The front part of the MK4 rear wings is different where it meets the B post hence the verticle cut at that point
