to be honest eveything was really good for us, we used the stand pipes near to the organisers offices and they were working all the time.
Our only real problem was when the generator ran out of petrol, and we had to wait an hour before we could get the 50" plasma working again - camping ! its great to be roughing it in the wilderness. we're thinking of having air-con next time in the main tower of central minis' castle.

things were probably not up to some peoples standards, but I've seen worse, and it was heck of a turn-out. It dwarfed any IMM previosuly.

is was brilliant to see everyone again as I havent made many shows in recent times due to work issues and Jayne's illness - but it was just what I needed.

speshul fanks to:

Stella - my new personal good luck pixie
shifty - even though you got that £2 coin from under the timber decking so there was no treasure when we de-camped
alex - now apoointed camp chef
dan - now appointed camp fag and keys monitor
Nige - for doing the classic falling over very drunk thing - still funny
Kel and the essex mob - best guys in the world to get drunk with
central minis team - for putting together the best camp / fortress in the show

and finally

curly haired girl who took a Pee in the middle of our camp - made for good conversation and laughs yesterday :(

I know for a FACT it was a obsession member too, they are on loads of forums so im not having it be put down to TMF on its own.

I am active on the mini community on alot of forums so recognise cars... especially as this one as you cant exactly miss it.

Dont have a problem with the person apart from they were being stupid and dangerous. Those speeds on damp/wet grass could have ended in a big accident.

Well do tell, if this person is active on many forums I fail to see how it could been directly attributed to Mini-obsession?

Mini-obsession did not have a stand there, and I take any slur against our name VERY personally.

Therefore I ask you to name this person, I am happy to take action against ANYONE bringing our name into disrepute. I also assume that the other forums that this person is a member will do the same.

Shifty, he wasn't saying it was directly attributed to Mini Obsession, just he is a member on there to.

Jake, are you sure it wasnt a obsession member, i saw one of them being stupid on the sunday night, speeding up and down the hill and stupid speed hitting the limiter on their car?

If that was me I hit the limiter in first gear only, if it caused you concern I apologise. we did wait untill the hill was clear, and stopped as quickly as we started. It hit the rev limiter in first gear only - mainly due to wheel spin on the wet grass - we really wernt going that fast and it was all very much under control. we never got within 20 feet of anyone watching and although I was asked to do it again repeatedly - i declined as i could clearly see it wasn't to everyone's liking.

Then, if this person is active on so many other forums why single out obsession?

If Mr jackman isn't going to name and shame so appropriate action can be taken, could I respectfully ask him to remove his comments?

Yeah, it was you and you did. You looked and sounded like you was going alot quicker than that, even though you said it was clear you dont need to have another person in the way to cause an accident, you could have slid or anything. It wasnt just me, there was others with me that thought it was stupid.

Well shifty, if you would check your PM's i kept it off the forum so the appropriate action could be taken bye yourself and not everyone have to know.

Edit. Well as he posted it was him its now on the forum anyway.

Neil and I got home a few hours ago

We had a brilliant time, got to the site about 4pm Thursday and it was near empty, was really cool to see the camp site fill up from then on!

Some things could have been better but all in all I thought it was a great event, already said it but had a fantastic time  was great to see lots of people and I'm so impressed by the turn out from other countries. The people were absolutely lovely and some of the minis were just amazing.

Oww me and Marksmini were hunting down familiar faces at 1am Friday morning, shame we didn't find you! Was a lil bit wet underfoot though and Vern wasn't allowed to go and play much beyond the entrance gate so that's where we had to stay

I've made my apologies and I would be grateful for you to pass them on to any other people in your party that shared your annoyance.

Personally, I think the larger group of minis being driven by what appeared to be quite drunk people posed more of a risk - this is why we waited for the hill to clear before taking our run.

For the record, I am most active ( web based chat portal wise ) on this forum, I am a member of obsession but I dont see what that has to do with anything - I think that was a cheap shot at putting the neighbours down again - my actions were my own, and have nothing to do with obsession.

The hill run was taken upon request of a TMF member. A valued friend and TMF member.

all susbesquent requests for hill runs were made by TMF members and others in their parties - but similarly I dont see what relevance this would have ? we realised our error and stopped, and I once again offer my apologies.
