Been talking to Martin at MRA, and for a number of reasons, mainly that he wants to do more development and testing on the six pot callipers, and because we want to get an operational front end as quickly as possible now were going to fit a set of his large 4 pot callipers to keep the project moving forward, and then retro-fit the six pots once he's totally happy.

Martin broke out into trigonometry, maths, equations and brake efficiency theory, and I just agreed and pretended to understand :dontgetit: he tells me the big four pots offer almost the same surface area of braking, and will still make it stand on its nose ;) but he has fulfilled all the testing and development on these, and is happy to release a set.

He has also machined up the spacers we need for the front end

so hopefully, pictures of fat 4 pots sometime soon,:) but we may have to hide them till he does his full launch of the products . :P

Just changed the 'autolock' settings on my I-moan to 'never' and that seems to have solved that little problem - am assuming latest generation I-plods have the same feature ??

alexcrosse finishes Uni in May, and will be coming in to build the engine up as soon as he's sobered up , and I think some major progress will be seen from that point on. :D

Could be sometime around September then, maybe later!

I have calipers !!!!!!!!!!!!!:woot:

I can't show you them, but you'll have to trust me when I say they are enormous, and I mean really enormous, black anodised and adapter brackets beautifully machined from what appears to be NASA grade aluminium

they are simply superb

shame I can't show you :P
