just realised - lights are the wrong way round :)

Maybe so but they look fantastic!

Are you considering putting them in to production at all or are you keeping them pure one off?

I think some moulds will be done, have spoken to Stig about it - seems easy enough but I think he wanted to wait till we'd got them on the car to see how it fits etc.

so what can I do while I wait for front subframe and engine bits......... :)

I know - start the interior :)

the dash needs to wait till some for of rollcage is decided upon, as does the rear sections, but I can work on the seats.......first stage then, get some tall fat bloke to get a comfy position for the seats, and make sure they fit

strip the seats of upholstery
Posted Image

brown tape the rear so no resin sticks to it and mark out the shape you want

build up the 'negative' of a shoulder detail for flexible LED strip to be applied to once its finished, and then brown tape that also

Posted Image

then resin in some material to form a positive back section, reinforce the edges with plastic strip so nice shape is formed, and peg till stiff ( fnarr fnarr )

this will give me a shape, that fits perfectly into the rear of the seat, that I can now start to build up speaker positions / mounts

TBC. :)

This is gonna look slick man. I can't wait for the finished dash if it is going to be as cool as you said it is. Martin, do you do soda blasting?

waiting for return of alspeed frame from MRA with addition of bid daddy fat disks and six pots, tie bars, bespoke 100mm PCD hubs, adjustable bottom arms n stuff.

playing with seat speaker pods still
Alex is stripping the head for a bit of porting and polishing right now I believe, we got delayed by firm doing the dip n wash, but I think he growled at them and got some progress made - crank has been balanced, bladed and tested, all other rotating bits balanced and tested.

and to be honest stickers decals and other bits is using any and all spare time I have at the mo...........progress soon though hopefully

Martin, I know you said you'd need the gearbox in 4 weeks but as it turns out I am leaving for the states tomorrow! I'll be gone till mid-April, but on the bright side I DID happen to source a few gearboxes from fleabay close to your area.
