HAHA.

wont be for a while yet. unless my spi engine sells on ebay the turbo engine wont go off for a rebuild and the whole project will come to a standstill :D lots of watchers but not much action at the moment...

id be on 10"ers right now if the thing that will be under the bonnet wasnt going to cost so much 10"ers are in the future plans either minilights, GBs or some shiny MB splittys lol

its all money tho ay, and it soon runs out

lol

Good shout look forward to seeing what you go for when it comes to it.
Know how you feel on the money front. Always seems to be spent as soon as it comes in.
All worth it though. Best of luck with selling the spi engine and everything.

update:

well sold my spi engine so i now have a £975 cash injection (no pun intended :( ) to the project so it should start rolling soon.

turbo engine will go off asap.

welding and repairs to body are starting in 2 weeks.

so hopefully its all go now >_<

oh and ive named the car "CROMWELL" reason behind this is round my mates house my nickname was cromwell 1664 lol (its a farm and evryone is hilarious with exelent sense of humours and evry 1 has nicknames for example the dogs are called biggy, smally and fluffy haha), and my mates brothers son mr. big (real name adam) whos only like 3 leant my name as cromwell not my real name and whenever he saw a mini he used to tell his mum and dad thats a cromwell car. so the name has stuck, CROMWELL THE COOPER. :D

Engine is now at MRA minis for a rebuild.

had a discussion with martain about it all and different options, was very helpfull and knowledgable ;)

final engine decision was:

1380cc
omega piston with deep dish
crank cross drilled
aluminium ultralight flywheel and backplate
SC drops
x pin diff
2.76 fd
avonbar ph2 cam
kent adjustable duplex timing thing
central oil pickup
reconned standard head (for now :P)
uprated clutch

Recomed MRA minis to anyone... some of the work (machining) i saw there was just outstanding, really good, they where friendly, knowlegable, keen to help. :shifty:

cheers miniallsort.
