So, are we going to see the same kind of hysterical mass mourning in the streets as we witnessed after Diana's death?

The man was a legend. My hope is the mourning won't go over the top, but I suspect as everything MJ did during his life was over the top, this will be no exception.

My childhood hero. I had all his tapes as a kid (still have all his stuff now) and he was permanently glued to the headphones on my walkman (man I'm showing my age!) But a true case of the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

I love the way that fans can see past all the guy's quite obvious social, behavioural, psychological & sexual issues. I wonder if Gary Glitter's fans do the same?

Had he not been a wealthy musician, he would have been labelled a social pariah & lynched.

Jacko was once a talented musician & singer & I loved his early stuff. It was sad that he had no grip on reality, but I won't miss him & I am dreading the media & fan frenzy that is currently erupting.

I'm a fan, and I recognise he had serious issues, but I think different people have different perceptions of what his issues really were.

R.I.P Jacko!
The spookiest thing is, I had my school prom last night. And at about 11pm we were all dancing to Thriller by Jackson.
Very very strange...
