it was only the fact that the apex panel was welded to the wing that the coach lines were in line, now you have removed the apex panel the wing has dropped.
if you push up the bottom of the wing were it joins the apex (A panel) the coach line will line up with the one on the door.

have to disagree about the shell dropping at the front. because the scuttle and closing panels have rotted, the back of the wing is not held in place and the wing has dropped.

I really hope i'm wrong on this as well.
Looking at previous pictures of the car and then what little metal being cut out(without bracing), couple this with front subby being removed.
I think the shell is twisted, I don't see how the wing can lifted as the scuttle joint is lined up, also on the front seam theres no room for the wing to push up.
Again, I hope I'm wrong, its worth checking before its too late.

Like I said , it will be checked
The front subby hasnt been removed, its just not connected to the front mounts
I will check whatever else needs to be checked etc

I think you understand what Im trying to say
The wing is not welded to anything at the back and has dropped , also that a panel wasnt clamped or welded in , was just resting in there

Cheers mate , anyways I will get some more pictures for Sean next week to have another look over to try and make it more clearer.

any more progress mate?
Nah not really mate , cleaned up the scuttle abit for some reason which I cant remember atm
Progress has kind of stalled until we stock up on panels , we need the inner scuttle and scuttle corners and we made a patch up for the middle of the scuttle and then welded that in , but didnt get any pictures.
Will get some more pictures up when progress kind of starts again , I have an urge to buy the panels but I'll have a chat with dad
Cheers for your support anyway mate

Looks like good progress but the welding dont look to clever.

nice to see your getting somewhere but i would seriously consider getting some help with the welding.
good luck anyway
and why would i do that?
these are the kind of comments lads that make me hate some people on here , and these are the kind of reasons why i dont update often
i will have a think about getting this thread deleted anyway , so bye

Alright dont worry about it , I would have got some pictures of it after and it would have explained the situation abit better anyway
