Deadline of summer, the start of summer so I can have her on the road during the big holiday. The next time I'm home I'm going to bring my carb to Uni, so I can take it apart and clean it up.

It's not too bad, if anything I'm getting more work done.. because I can plan ahead and work out what parts I need, order them all and blast it in a day whilst I'm back. & I've also got the added bonus of a student overdraft.. :P hoping to pay off what I've taken out this term over Christmas, and then by the time I get my second 'helping', I can start buying panels, put the engine & front subframe together.

But yeah I want to be home tinkering all the time.. which is why if I bring my carb to Uni it gives me something to rather than drinking or playing Call of Duty

Simple fact of the matter is, I've ran out of money on my overdraft  So the parts I needed to order.. neg camber brackets, hub rebuild kit & some nuts and bolts.. can't be ordered until I get more money. Which could be Christmas time.

I'll be home next weekend, so I'll practice welding. & attach the radius arms to the backplates.. but that's only a 10 minute job.

Things will go quiet for a while :w00t:

Hold in there mate, its tough waiting for things to happen but it will all come in due time. Just don't cut corners to cut cost or do something that you don't want as your going for your ideal mini at the end of the day.

It's taken me 3 years so far to get to the bodyshop and thats because of the cost of the things I wanted doing but I know (it better had be anyways) it will be better because of the wait. It's also given me time to think it through and put a spread sheet together of whats its cost so far and the monies required to finish it, scary figures in there but atleast I know everything required :D

Yeah I'll practice my welding & keep myself busy with other things relating to the mini :D Like you said, I'm not going to cut corners because I can't afford things.

Also want to make a spit to spin her round on, so that's another inexpensive task I can do.

Just read up on the previous 30 pages I have missed, Looking Really good. I'm loving period the look your going for too, I'm going for something pretty much the same myself.
I know exactly how you feel about the whole money situation. I'm in my last year at collage and now jobless.
I have £200 in the bank £2500 needed to finish my mini.
It'll come together. Yours is coming together faster than mine is :withstupid:
