Hi mate well sorry to here about the women anywhay on the subject nice long walks a push bike small meals at a gym they call it burn off have a jog

Burn off? Can you tell me more?

Petwar, yeah, I know it's time to move on. It doesn't help matters on her side that she's been really horrible to me since she broke up with me, for no good reason except to try and put me off. Again, logic, none.

Gym does intimidate me quite lot. At the moment, I have access to free weights, an exercise bike and a air rower so I'm trying to avoid having to join the gym and make use of what I have at hand mainly.

It's very possible my eating is what's the issue, not that I eat a huge amount, I may even not be eating enough but it's whether I'm eating the right stuff? I often have soup, sandwiches, sometimes have a home made curry, I make quite a bit of pasta at the moment.

There is so much contradicting information about when the right time to exercise is on the internet. It's enough to put someone off completely haha. Some say you should eat and then exercise 2 hours after, some say you should exercise before you eat. Alot say you should exercise in the morning and drink lots of water, both of which I can understand.

My views on building muscle is that it increases my bodys resting calorie requirement, which surely means I'll find it easier to lose the fat?

Cheers for all this chat guys, it feels good to be able to talk it through with people and get views on whether or not I'm doing the right thing to achieve my goals or not .

Im not sure if there is a best place it just kind of happens when you least expect it, it was true for me.....

Definately agree with this - I had just come out of a couple bad relationships where I was the one that got cheated on. I was just out with friends down our local hang out and met my other half there. It started off with the occasional hello etc etc and then we became an item...

Just happens when you least expect it :genius:

wow good for you...

Wake up early, do 30 mins of CV workout, then a good breakfast, Porridge or oatibix... as much as you can eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eat what you like for lunch. Plenty of proteins

Drink water through the day

In the evening don't eat after 6pm. do your weights 2 hours either before or after eating....

drink water before you go to bed and try to get a decent nights sleep ready to wake up for running the next morning

well you aint gona meet someone sitting in the house, my rules of dating are:

1) Get out at every oppertunity (shoundnt be too hard at uni, never say no to a night out, u only live once)
2) A guys shoes are the most important point of his outfit! (girls back me up here?)
3) It aint about looks it about confidence (cliche but true!)
4) Dont be afraid to start a conversation, or finish it if its not goin well!

As for the muscle mass, from your profile picture you don't look like you need to loose weight, to build muscle mass its more weight, less reps. But be careful, if you have confidence issues, bulking up rarely solves them. Besides i think you look kina cute as you are!

I'll answer those individually :genius::

1. I do my best, but as it is, I've been out twice since Halloween because my house mates have been incredibly boring, I don't really know why but they have. I want to organise a house party at ours next term (entitled "Because Geeks Can Party Too!" haha).

2. What should I be looking for in a pair of shoes then? At the moment whenever I go out in to town, I wear a pair of these: http://meritboardsho...9/03/deawon.jpg

No, the colours on my cartoon Mini in my signiture are not an accident haha.

3. I could do with building some more confidence then I think.

4. More easily said than done, I never know how to start a conversation. I always feel like it'd be really rude of me to just start talking to someone I don't know.

My profile picture is very old haha, this is me now: http://www.facebook....mp;id=510118781

Although my very trendy hoody hides most of me, which is why I rarely remove it at the moment. Hehe, thankyou

Does it matter what cardio I do? I've been doing the exercise bike in the morning after the weights the past few days.

Is that don't eat after 6 even if I'm hungry? I've been scared by all these websites telling my body will go in to starvation mode and pack fat everywhere if I don't eat when i'm hungry.

I think asmith88 is a guy..

Hehe, there is one girl that caught my eye a bit lately, but apparantly she's just come out of a rough relationship so I've been told to stay away. I might offer her a drink next time I see her out anyway though, can't do any harm.

Hehe, yeah I guess I'll just have to swallow my fear and go over to a girl and blurt out something about offshore windfarms or something. Haha.

Hehe, I used to only wear Etnies, but when I saw those DVS ones I had to have them. I've got a pair of Etnies Taylors for day to day, they're orange and black too but much more subtle.
