If its blowing then its either not on far enough, or you havent tightened the clamps enough, (suppose there may be the odd time
it just happens) but with some paste and just doing it up normally it should be fine.
We used one called something like "Fire Gum", at least i think thats its name.

pipe is in about 4 inches and the clamp was done up tighter than a tight thing.

i looked after i eventually got it apart and there was hardly any paste on it.

strated building some speaker pods today


Pics will follow shortky.

I found more rus aswell and a very dogy inner sill repair that was tacked on!!! and finished with high quality silicon sealant!!! LOL

got a secondhand subframe yesterday and started to strip down today so i can wire wheel it and then paint it.

Gonna put a few pics up tomorow

Also got a bonnet and windscreen. I think i will try and do a mk1 look on the bonnet by taking the lip off

removed the radus arms from the subby today and now i have started painting it.

Also removed the lip from the bonnet and now have a mk1 bonnet.
