well i did a bit more tidying up today a bit hee and a bit there.

drilled all the holes needed for the brace bars.

made a bracket for the expansion tank to relocate it now the brace bar is in the way.

also made up some under scuttle closers after seeing the stupid prices of them online and frm the motor factors. looking at £15 inc P+P from ebay and about 8 quid each from the motor factors.

now these aren't perfect but they are prety close, and will only ned a very minor amount of fiddling to get them to fit perfectly.

I am thinking of knocking a few of these out (so to speak) for a couple of quid each.

PM me if interested.

Are you going to keep the body black, paint the front white and have black bonnet strips (real badger look-a-like)?

Thought i would do a quick update and will add pics in the morning.

I have some new 10 inch wheels to go on from Force Racing.

A new HIF 44 that i have had a go at a minor bit of Vizarding.(will see how thats works!!)

Mg metro cylinder head Leaded variety with bigger inlet valves.

1.5:1 ratio roller tip rockers also waiting to go on.

Have a vac gauge to fit so while the cylinder is being done i will take that inlet manifold and get it tapped for the vac pipe to go in

To get the wheels to go on i am doing the fiesta brake caliper conversion. got drive flanges and am waiting on the calipers and hubs.

Then after i have done all the fun stuff i need to sort the body work out.

that is the arches under the front scuttle on both sides. also need to figure out where all the water under therear carpets is coming from. Think it is because when we did the inner sills we didnt use any seam sealer.oops.

Also sort out the front end and get it painted. add the a panels to the removable front aswell.

Blimey quite a long list really!!
