Those poly subby mounts are thicker than the rubber 'n steel originals hence the bolts been too short. I'd replace the mounts rather than the bolts. or do the lot with solid (metal) ones.

So London to Brighton was yesterday ! brought a few bits,
got my solid front subframe mounts so then I can get rid of the polys!
on a training course this week and gutted really want to go home and drop the frames and run the lines get the fuel tank in, then its a case of hunting for everything now
the gearbox should hopefully be back from Guessworks soon so it means that I can crack on with building the Engine for the lil bugga, decided after L2B I will be running a oil cooler, cant work out if I want it mounted on the inner wing or under the number plate, but time will tell.
with my crank case breather I will be running a under wing catch tank from swiftune too, and I am also trying to work out if I can use mgb wiper gear ( as its longer and similar) to hide the motor, so I have a clean engine bay
when im back off this course I will be having a full weekend on the car,
what brake lines do people use and what dimensions ? I have the flexi goodridge hose for the drums and discs

The colour is Smoke Grey (BU15), The reason for the ally tank is firstly weight secondly it was made by my friend who died before he could finish the car so thought I would use it, so In theory a free aluminum tank for nothing......

Do you have the paint code that you used to purchase the paint? and brand of the paint ? I am having problems getting the correct codes here in Australia, the codes I have gives me a grey Smoke grey rather than a bluey Grey.
Thanks in advance.
