Went to brooklands yesterday saw some truly awesome cars and picked up this lot ! So now when the car comes back it can be rolling and Steerable !!!!

All coming together !!! little more of an update engine has landed, just waiting on the head to be dry decked and the gearbox to be refurbed by Guessworks, just a few more shots whilst its all being done :D Engine bits!!

The Finalised Spec for the Engine as i now have brought it is follow's 998

Head
12G940 Cast
Inlet 35.7
Exhaust 31
Fully ported and flowed
Bronze valve guides
Eibach Double valve springs
Concept valves
19cc combustion chambers !

Fueling
facet fast road electric fuel pump
Twin HS2 Carbs

Engine Block

Surfaced, Pocketed, Chemically Cleaned,
+020 Powertune Pistons
A+ Crank Balanced/Polished/Wedged &Cross Drilled
A+ Rods Lightened /Balanced
270 Piper Cam - Same duration as the 276 but more lift
High Flow Oil Pump,
Oil Cooler,
3.7KG flywheel and Backplate assembly+( from my mates Mini Se7en),
race clutch,
Vandervell bearings,
duplex timing chain,
centre main strap,

Right so the pickup is in primer ! And the 7.5 discs have all turned up so will get them on the subframe and built up ASAP! All I need now is the bloody shell and I'm good to go ! Dashboard has been ordered and should be with me middle of next week :-) exciting stuff

So after redo'in my doors as they were fairly similar to the job of a sieve

I replaced and repaired the bottom section of the door and the window runner for the car

Where did you order that dash pod from? I have seen them at shows but dont know where I can buy them anywhere else? Pickups looking grea by the way. Engine looks much better in that colour.

Was a one off will ask the guy if he is happy for me to give out his info if so I will message u :-)

Going up to see the bodywork today and give them the seam covers, I expect you will all be seeing more pictures later ;-) I hope so anyway :-)
