i can save the roll cage. sand it down and paint it.
same with the bucket seats. new spounge and get mom to recover them... in my own design.... my old jeans :( after they have been died black so i would have black denium buckets

im making one of the two half melted superlites into a one=off coffee table after i refurbed them and selling it on ebay via here, soon to raise funds >_< just like top gears v8 or v12 table.

god no one will let me scrap it... soooooo... here seems to be my plan of action
use the burnt shell for a 4X4 mini pickup for my "mini monster" truck
and put it atop a susuki SJ chassis :D as i would in theory would be a the reg off the sj and still be able to transfer my log book to a shell if i do not get a log book with it :D
so really i created another mini right? and have not lost a mini forever.

i know i had the first digree from my dad about it but what can i do with a log book and no shell?
anyways 100ev8 said hes got a shell for me, whether or not it comes with paperwork is up to him. lol
but i do intend to do it lagit. i got a personallised plate on it anyway. so it will look exactly like it from the reg plate point of view anyway.

built the car with the v5 it has got and transfer the plate and it is virtually the same car anyway. just with a differant chassis number thats all.

can you just clarify your planning on using the burnt out shell on the conversion?
not going to set about saying you should be wapping identitys n all that...basicly because i dont care but you need to think hard about this bit mainly because a fire damaged shell will have the strength of a paper hat, the material structure would have changed through the heat and now wouldnt be suitable for use, sorry

Either buy a brand new heritage shell or accept the car is destroyed and return the V5c to the DVLA. There is no third option. Frankly even rebuilding it with a Heritage shell is a bit dodgy in this case because so little of the old car exists. Has any Police paperwork been filled in regarding this fire?

I guess you might be able to put the registration on a retainer if it's still registered on the road but anything more would be a hell of a risk.

You don't want to get your fingers burned :D
