Its a real shame. That car looks like it has had endless time and effort spent on it.

I am going to do something totally shameful.
I am going to use this as a cheeky chance to push my shell as a replacement! The only reason I am getting rid is I have just bought a pick up, and I really feel ashamed for ignoring this car for so long. It just doesnt receive any love from me anymore after misbehaving every chance it gets!

It is in need of the kind of love that this car looks like it has had. It doesnt come with much as you can see from the ad. But by the looks of this motor Andy would rather have a "clean slate" to start with anywho?!

Be very careful stripping your car. Certain nitrile rubbers decompose into the most incredibly corrosive acid when exposed to fire. If you get it on your skin it will eat right through to the bone very quickly and often the only medical treatment available is rapid amputation of the limb to prevent the acid spreading throughout the whole body. These rubbers can be found in the fuel hoses, lamp gaskets, screen seals, O rings, the battery clamp, etc. etc. Take care, wear thick rubber gloves, and don't strip down anything that you don't have to if it contains rubber. Accept when things are burned beyond use and just junk them without investigating. This is why burned cars should go to scrap yards automatically.

:D wow i think i actually took my ideas from that mini.
i found one exactly like that on here before and edited the picture to do a moke up of mine 3 years ago.
that one would litterally be a great start to rebuilding thunderbird 2 but i would be very sad to see another one like that go. but i would be more than grateful to make room for your pickup.. but i can't really because of the distance.

to be honest the kod father is the perfect example for doing what i seem to do....
get a mini and rebuild it and passed mot in a month. i did that with my red mini (below a week)
and the same again when i sold it this weekend. if i was keeping it i would still have a mini to drive now lol,
so not bad really getting rid of two minis in a weekend. but i did not count on thunderbird 2 catching fire. that was a total shock and back to square one again.
but i got enough money to get my next run about mini and start thunderbird 2 again. sighhh.... all i do is build my dream mini... damn... i just hope i can get my dream mini done again in a year. :D but it will be better for sure. :(

Lol I feel proud of the KOD father being of inspiration! It certainly did look like a gem once upon a time. It depseratly needs and deserves the sort of attention you give your minis. Drop me a msg if you fancy coming to have a look. and to be honest, I would love the KOD father to go to you, it kind of feels fitting in a way. If you did decide you wanted it. I might be able to deliver for a cost!

Hands off the Pick up though!

Posted Image

just put on thunderbird 2's profile why he has been refused access in heaven and the car park in the sky..
lol.....what?.... im bored without a mini to do..... :( ...
but got enough cash to buy me a run about since i sold reddy eddy.... :- i got a mean green bean mashine i just called "Turf" that im collecting tomorrow. :D
but still need the shell from 100ev8 to rebuild T2 :)
by the way.. eddy is thunderbird 3 in the a5 mini club. and petes mini...a clubman is thunderbird 4 in yellow. plus pete has been in a lake with a mini :-

i will be glad to, but not to sure where to put it.. has the kod farther got wheels and runs? as am in the process of getting a unit for me and my mates to work on our minis. and use it as a club house too. how urgent are you in selling it. as one of my mates is very interested in getting one the way mine was. and me being the starter of a5 minis can keep a very good eye on that mini. for you ;)
