We had shed load of doors arrive last week so I popped down this afternoon and started making brackets to hang them off the walls. Each pair should take 4 Mk1 doors or 6 Mk3 doors.

Give her a little tune up, another neddle and timing and tick over. Should have done this ages ago. She runs loads better now.

The other day i picked up all the tools that were sat on the floor surrounding it.

Gave it a tune up with a Colourtune and then washed and polished it. Had to richen the mixture up with all the cold weather these last few weeks.

Bought a set of Cosmic arches, don't know what I'm going to do with them though.

welded a piece in the boot floor, rear quarter bottom piece welded in also and fitted some bolt in valves in my cooper s rims....

Me, I put the car cover on the carcass that is my Mpi, Alfie, and covered the side in a few thick blankets - gas man is coming tomorrow to fit a new boiler and the car's not going anywhere, so I want to avoid any horrible scratches while they work by the gas meter.
Tomorrow I'll be cleaning pistons, giving the cylinder block a second coat of engine lacquer, and if I'm lucky, my new manifold might arrive from maniflow.... fingers crossed.

Sorted my shorting number plate lights.

Adjusted rear brakes and handbrake.

Fitted new drivers side exterior handle and a side repeater under the door mirror and got it all wired in. Stripped door card and plastic handles in prep. for new door cards and interior handles.

Filled dash pot and topped up engine oil. Also topped up coolant. And topped up brake and clutch fluid and fitted new brake reservoir lid (need to wire it in yet).

Took it for a blast in the sunshine :)
