Took a trip up to the hills. A lot windier up there than I thought. Shouldn't have worn a skirt...
Looks Familiar...

Just above Charlesworth, Derbyshire? I had a close shave with death in a Mini years ago when the drum brakes faded at the "chicane" at the bottom of that hill. My fault though, going too fast for the conditions.....Took a trip up to the hills
Indeed it was, well spotted!

Gave the 4pots a test, that and dodging the snow mounds that were taking up most of the road, with oncoming drivers driving well into my side

Just a sidelight bulb to replace in the morning, then I think she is ready for her MoT at the end of the month.

I have a bag for screen wash, so removed that from the car and gave it a good soak and rinse. Rewired the screen wash motor and reran the screen wash hoses.
Cut a new small wiring hole in the bulkhead and grommeted it.
Degreased and cleaned the bulkhead in the engine bay.
Removed rad, cowl fan and all hoses including heater hoses. Then removed the heater. Then steady bar.
Sanded and cleaned cowl, steady, steady bar. Degreased again. Three coats of spray gloss, drying now. Rad went in the skip, new one arrived from W&P.
Then pulled heater takeoff (to be replaced by a tap) and the thermo hosing. All cleaned up and ready to refit.
Hopefully, do the reverse tomorrow with new silicone hoses.
Cheers
Ian
