looked at cleaning up some rusty freebie lampguards we've been given. think I might need to powdercoat them as the chrome is shot.

I produced a complete bespoke front grille for my clubman. Used 6mm abs black plastic shaped it using a router and a mill to machine the slots, finished it off with mesh behind the slats. Looks pretty shweet. I will get some pics up for anyone interested.
Edit - also got some thick checker plate and made myself a sump guard.

Passed it's MOT and had a service while it was at it. Few advisories but thankfully nothing major!

snow foamed, rinsed, washed and then waxed little ol' mable, then treated her to some polybush upper engine steady bushes
i put poly bushes on mine last time they lasted about 200 miles so went back to the rubber ones trying the cone inserts this time

started to get my mini ready for its big trip so sorted the oil leek out i had no heating so i changed my heater and i got heating and then suddentley a drip appeared so got to take it back out again and change it tomoz. also had play in my steering column so put another one in and its abit better but there is slight play in it still so will be coming out again as i am not happy with it. so my day has been poo and got to do it all again tomoz.

Fixed my SRS light.
Its been bugging me for years but now its part of the MOT.
Changed the rotary coupler - dead easy and £10 MGF one off fleabay. Don't know why all MPI spares seem to soooooooo much dearer.
Feeling pleased with myself now.
