Poked a screwdriver through my sill. Oh bugger, tin worn has struck.

Yesterday I adjusted the rear hi los as the car keeps scraping the arches and I did my first bit of mini welding as I found/poked/created/enlarged a hole in the wheel arch and sill.

Decided to cut wings and front panel off Mayfair in garage, one of the longest projects ever only had it 5 years and still stripping it down, but as I keep telling people it's going nowhere, only got 11 years left to complete it as daughter wants it after she learns to drive, could be a chance it's done by then.  :highfive:

I finished rearranging the garage, not strictly work on the mini but it means I can now work on the mini whatever the weather! Cones are up for replacement next.......

Got it back on the road!!!  :proud:

More specifically, I put a wheel on, connected some electrics up and rewired some bits, put some trim back on and pumped the pedals, while my friendly mechanic fitted an exhaust, did the tappets and changed a CV boot.

End result though, after 8 months stripping, celaning and rebuilding, Alfie lives again!

Okay, so he boiled over on the first run and needs a new battery, but it's still life!

very happy indeed
