Treated it to a new DAB radio.... although there's an interesting paragraph in the instructions....

"avoid installing in areas subject to dust, dirt, excessive vibration and high temperatures..."

um....

oh and there's nowhere for my cassettes either......

Cleared all the rubbish that has accumulated on it since it's been laid up in the garage. Fed up with it being a shelf....

I replaced all the perished rubbers on the front end.

Teardrops x 2

Bottom arm bushes x 4 *

Knuckle dust covers x 2 *

Ball joint covers x 4*

Drive shaft oil seals x 2

Gear selector oil seal x 1

Cleaned up inner and outer headlamp trims and fitted new level motor

Removed Sportpack arches to change rusted up and missing bolts.

Gunked off the gearbox and back of block.

I changed then all marked with a * last year but they have perished. Also had to smooth surface of ball joints down with emery paper. Rusty.

All nice and clean again now.

New LCB and Lambda tomorrow plus try and fit the arches back on. Missus away for weekend. Means I can crack on. If only she knew what Ive been spending.
