Cut out part of the rear seat and bins to fit my cage!

Got the welding wire changed over and the bottle of gas set up :) Yayy!

put back in the "string" door opener into my MK1 van on the drivers door.   exciting stuff

• Fitted new oil pressure switch
• Fitted new brake lamp switch
• Replaced fuel tank neck seal
• Replaced rear lens foam seals
• Adjusted bonnet catch
• Topped up dash pot oil
• Fitted my shiny new bonnet badge... yeah

Fitted internal fuse boxes, changed driveshaft CV joints, Alubrited ali engine bits, fitted LSD & engine in & mounted

de-rusted frt grille plate & panel behind the cone filter, etch primed & painted

Connected up eng. fitted gear remote, removed sparkplugs & turned over, we have oil-pressure Capn.

 

reconnected suspension & fitted wheels - hopefully be test-driving on Sat

Fitted new/2nd hand window regulator....no more 2 handy up window @ 70mph down the motorway after a fag

The same thing I have done every time I've driven it this week, topped up the water haha. A new rad can't come soon enough!

made a repair panel for my front passenger door and tacked it ok, need to weld it on fully and re skin it now!

Pushed the roll pin back into the gear selector as it had worked its way out, I can now rest assured that I will get 3rd and 4th gear

I also replaced a missing bolt from the exhaust bracket to gearbox, Hopefully this has solved my oil leak.

Rain-X'd all the windows.  Highly recommended when the wipers are so rubbish.

Wired up the engine, changed fuel hose, fitted exhaust, added coolant & brake fluid, fitted some fuses, fitted oil press gauge

 

Started her up to test getting into 1st (was a problem before), drove her out of the garage turned round & put back in the garage all with no footbrake, then bled the brakes

 

Oh, then went to MiniFest & bought interior window trim & bonnet grille slat
