Have a guess what I did today (or rather got my mate to do  :whistling: )

replace choke/heater cable?

The choke cable, gold star to Alex! I'd forgotten what an arse of a job it is! :D

 

wooo! getting the nut on and tight is the worst bit, There must be another way of doing it...

Scratched if loads of paint on the drivers door putting the window back in, the tape didn't help

I was nearly tempted to drill a hole in my dashboard yesterday and put something else in its place!  O_O  :bah:

woke up with the missus had a bacon sarnie a cuppa  ;D and thought i need to get back on my project as the weathers getting better...slowly  :mmkay: then stared working out what im gonna do :D

Fitted the high back seats that came standard in aussie minis into the mrs clubman, so much better to drive in now, replaced botto radiator hose as didn't fancy having it burst in the middle of no where on our road trip and did a coolant change and flushed radiator, it seems a lot smoother now, just need to do drivers side engine mount and all should be good

Got the 13" Cooper wheel off and fitted a smaller 12" wheel...

 

Finished it last night painting it to match my Weller Wheels :)

Got the radiator back on after finally fitting the new water pump yesterday.

 

Hoses back on, filled with water and started.

 

The bloody bottom rad hose is a right pain in the backside.

 

My hands are now no longer hands, just lumps of torn and scarred flesh, :D.

 

 

Just got to put the bonnet back on, then the TVRs can be run, as the minis blocking them in at the moment, :D

but then it died because the battery is screwed :ohno:

 

buying battery tomorrow ;D

Went shopping then when I got home I gave him a nice wash. It was clean but I stopped at my mates on way home and an old dear was emptying her vacuum cleaner and the wind was blowing all the dust on minmin >_<
