Re-riveted my passengers side front wheel arch back onto the car after two of the old ones decided they had had enough and were hanging off, been meaning to do that for ages. Also finally got around to refitting my steering wheel in a position that is pretty much straight after completely messing it up last time fitting it in a hurry and leaving it askew for about 6 months. Last of all screwed the speaker board into place as the "jam it in" method that once worked stopped leading to it all falling flat on it's face under heavy braking.
All in all not much but something at least I guess.

Took distributor cap off and cleaned the points as my mini was juddering and cutting out! The points were above 0.15 and i set them to 0.12, running fine so far! New set of points and condenser arriving tomorrow, so will get them replaced! (my dad did this for me, he's had a few minis in his time so knew what to do) but now I've seen it i can do it.
They should still teach mechanics at high school. When i started high school in 1998 they decided to do away with mechanics! And the school sold me 2 petrol go-karts as they were selling everything off! My mates dad got one of them going but it would cut out when changing into second!
Yes, a go-kart with gears!

Yes, a go-kart with gears!
In the words of Nicky Lauda when asked what the difference was between a go-cart and a Kart he replied: "100mph"

The hardest bit was getting the block from my car to my workshop, I am seriously out of shape!
Now all I need to do is tap the holes, fingers crossed I don't snap the tap!

I negotiated the fine price of £20 each to soda blast my wheels and then I looked at my seats for a while and tried to figure out how to mount them.
