Flattened off the drive flanges on a lathe as I was getting hideous brake judder from my front minifin drums.

Checked all the electrics and adjusted the brakes for MOT tonight at 615, wish me luck!

Fitted the shock absorber mounts, fitted the o/s shock but I've run out of nuts and washers so I can't fit the nearside one yet.

Checked all the electrics and adjusted the brakes for MOT tonight at 615, wish me luck!
Failed MOT...Doh!
Rear brake imbalance - probably a sticking wheel cylinder so I'll fit 2 new rears to be on safe side.
Play in front N/S hub assembly - already replaced wheel bearing last week so suspect drive flange.
On a positive note, the testers all loved it - even taking photos.

Made humpty go verooom but not happy... still puffin smoke so I guess the engine is coming out.... boohoo....

Dismantled front hub and drive flange, confirmed that it is indeed a totally seized rear wheel cylinder , (when I adjusted the brakes I didn't even think to check the operation of the wheel cylinder as it looks relatively new and wasn't leaking) , new parts ordered from Minispares.
