Over the past few days, I have got her properly working again!!!

After a garage bodged a few jobs on it, I managed to right them all myself, the biggest annoyance being getting the engine running properly. (Damn MPIs!!)

In celebration, I gave her a much earned clean today, and I have rediscovered my love for minis!

I had planned to try and fit in a days work in the garage as I desperately need to finish the floor and sills to get the Subframe back on so I have rolling project but rained stopped play AGAIN!!!

Why rain you may ask when my car is in a garage - problem is I have so much stuff (mainly Mini bits in boxes) around the outside and my home refurbished Wellers inside the car I need good weather to spend the first half hour unloading the garage outside so I have room to work :-(

So rain no likey :-(

Brought my baby home from work tonight so I can enjoy her for a couple of days. I noticed that although she most definitely runs she is still "hunting" a bit so I`ll raise the jet a tad more tomoz and I`m sure that`ll do the trick. She goes round corners and roundabouts as though on rails - lovely grub!!  :-)

Have bin welding the back end of the green car all day yesterday and it will continue today.
The bonnet came up at 50mph yesterday on the yellow car so more work to do to that now!
And another months rent has bin paid on storing the brown estate keeping it warm and dry
Roll on summer it's too cold and wet

Finally properly set up the tracking, caster camber etc!

Also had a new set of front Yokos!

I have also fitted a mini sport stage one needle and a piper cross filter...all in all transformed the car!

Welded in a patch, done some wire brushing, painted one rear arch and tested this.

Took the jet up a tad this morning and she runs very sweetly now. Can`t push her though because I`m running her in. Having sorted that I find my wipers etc have packed up. To add to that the lights, which were great last night, have also stopped working! Aaaaarrgh, I hate electricals! lol  O_O

Took all the fuses out and checked them today and lo..........the lights work again. Then I "jiggled" the connector for the wiper switch and they work again....thus showing to me that I deffo need some new blades. Aw well, can`t win `em all.

Keits had new sills and floors and the stone chip is finally dry so today should be primer underneath! Can't wait almost ready for some top coat before I get him back on his wheels. I can then tackle his new front end! I hope he's ready the l2b
