Fitted the entire left side suspension after having some welding done to the boot floor and subframe mounting area. Can finally see the home straight, wonder if it'll be ready for Brighton....

dropped head off for regrind. Cleaned off the valves ready for re-lapping, removed studs & stoned off the block. Tapped out the threads.

Booked it on for M.O.T tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
It's been sat up since September but I'm confident it will pass!

Drove it to work in glorious sunshine, window down, arm sticking out the window, and just smiled as the ever impatient BMW and Audi brigade cut me up to then sit in front of me at the same speed I was going, happy in the knowledge that they were all stressed and annoyed whilst I was basking in the lovely burble from my trusty A series as I bounced along the road. I must be in a good mood or something but today it just feels great to own a mini.

Removed my tired wheel arches and fitted the standard black ones back on. Then took it for a spin about town in the lovely weather. Great day to have a mini!

I fitted a yellow H4 as interior light, where they were just 2 cables hanging before.. Gives it a real vintage kinda vibe.

Disassembled early speedo to find the clip that holds pawl mechanism in place had come off. Happy to find that the gears were not stripped, put clip back in place and now the odometer works again.
