Uncovered matching holes in both companion bins.
And discovered just enough funds to not be too bothered.
Tis an ill wind.

Hunting a strange water leak into the boot. I also had a leak into the compartment bin, which I knew was the rear side windows, so changed both seals to new ones. Was worse with the new seals! They didn't seal properly around the position of the catch. Swapped over the windows from my off the road mini, and they both sealed.
Onto the boot. I had hoped it was also the side windows, but no - still there. Turned out it was weeping in the side seam, So off with the seam cover, test again and right enough. I had feared that with this happening there would be alot of rust on the seam, but luckily not. Tidied it up, but of primer, bit of paint and then worked a little PU sealer into the seam. Just waiting on it to dry now then it will be on with Dynax UC clear wax, and seam cover back on, then hopefully a dry mini!
