Rewired everything that was behind the grille..... took a while but all lights and spots now work perfectly as they should :)

Spent an hour sorting the pins on S30 Alarm works. Great, Scared the pets,

Redone the timinig on my cam. Fitted everything back on the engine. Runs well.

Finished welding a new door skin on and regapped the drives door

Picked him up and had my first drive bringing him home

Replaced the points, condenser and Rotor arm

Started it, warmed it up, drove it out of the garage....then straight back in. It's a fair weather toy only ! Lol
But least it's now been started again!

Sorted a load of rewiring, what a rats nest including the flasher/indicator relay, installed spots, welded some and spent more money at minispares

Installed new DVD player HU, also installed front speakers where the vents used to be.... found my leak that is flooding the drivers side floor only... sealed and hoping for the best..... also put to bed with a new CustomCover' errrm cover :) Can't tell its a Mini LOL

went back inside and made a cuppa, that needs to be done in summer....
looked at Mini parts on the webs dreaming about how good it will be in summer....

Installed new rear speakers as the standards just aint up to the job at all...

 

So removed old speakers...

 

Removed the shelf cover...

 

Dynamatted the rear shelf...

 

Installed speaker pods...

 

Had a little swearing session....

 

Reinstalled the rear shelf cover...

 

Installed new speakers (Mids and tweeters)

 

Closed bootlid and cranked up the volume...

 

Sounds damn good to be honest, better than me Omegas system....

 

Locked up and went and made a brew....

Rang Minisport at Pagiham again to chase up an order, still aint got the polybushes for he front teardrops... waiting on these so I can take my mini for its MoT....

 

Mybe not their fault they dont have the stock, but they should notice when it gets low.... waiting for them to ring me back...

Went to Aldi today they had there compressor reduced by £20.00  I got to tell my wife she's bought my xmas box
