Changed the rear brake cylinders new shoes and rigid pipe realized I fitted the others when I built the car 29 years ago moneys worth or what. Bet the new ones won't last that long

I fitted a clutch and brake master cylinder and a radiator on a mk1.

Finished off my home made binnacle that fit's the rev counter, temperature, oil pressure and speedo and fits the original mounting holes. Pretty pleased with the way it turned out

Took mine for its MoT yesterday (well the wife did whilst I was at work) it failed (again) on the handbrake below threshold. Had an impromptu day off from work, so adjusted the handbrake took it for its retest and it passed :)
Happy days, 12 months happy mini motoring to be had again :)

New chock cable, gas pedal cover, cut out my catalytic convertor, general prep to get my freshly bored 998 block back from the machine shop. Next step is to put the engine back together and then enjoy driving.

Hopefully sorted the burning oil issue, it seems to be being drawn up into the carbs through the pipe coming from the timing cover.

Rebuilt my HIF44 carb
Was going to fit the ball joints but one of the cups is as below ... cheers minispares.
