And theres the fact that it says it dosent fit a R1, only a honda blackbird

It will fit other bike engines with the appropriate sprocket adapter, the crankcase is to close to the sprocket on the R1, you may have the same problem with the latest fireblade.
But all the normal stuff it should fit, hayabusa, blackbird, zzr1100, z9r, etc check before you buy though.

It will be a tight fight in a mini though, 10.5 inch between CV and sprocket centres, although could be reduced by angling the box down and the driveshafts back

Cheers
David

Even so i think it's a tad expensive. Don't you.

Yeah, just a tad! :saywhat:

I expressed an interest in this quaife box and asked about the ratio's he had, but got no further reply after saying he would look and let me know, I still could be interested if the ratios are somewhere near

I also happen to have a complete chain driven Quaife ATB, with bearings and alloy carriers, sprockets, etc which I know he was looking for I'm sure we could have done a deal. I might try him again

Cheers
David

Send him an email via Ebay, he will most probably get back to you that way. Still not hit reserve.

Well it's been over 5 weeks since i last touched the Mini project. This post is going to get me back into gear. summer is coming (i think) :w00t: . Need a kick up the backside to get motivated. Going to set myself a few tasks.
1. Strip all R1 loom/electrics out of car.
2. Drain all fluids from engine/cooling system.
3. Finnish off roll cage.
4. Remove engine/rear suspension assembly from car.
Thats enough for now. :'(

Well after an extended dinner, i have finnished the roll cage now.
Dropped him back on his wheels and pushed him outside to give Damien (that's his name 666 :D ) a blast down to get rid of the dust which has collected over the no progress weeks.

So thats No. 3 done.

No. 4 next. :goaway: . Not looking forward to that.

Some pic's from today taken on phone so sorry about the quality folks.
