How come your selling up just seen engine on ebay

Yeah didnt really want to say anything . Selling all the engine bits then putting a standard 998cc in and selling the mini, and get a anglia/mk2 escort. Just fancy a change, ive always loved the thought of a retro RWD powerfull Ford espically when its summer. the mini has been giving me nothing but hassle over the past year, just need a break from the mini scene. sorry

how did you find the drivability of the 296 off cam?

The 296 was easy to drive about i thought, for the first 20miles it was difficult, but you get the hang of driving it. you have to drive with your foot flat to the floor sometimes due to the lack of bottom end torque. you just need to juggle the gears about alot more than you would with a standard mini.
