I think you should make him hit you, then technically he has assaulted you first, then you can beat the crap outta him.

Or you could hit him with a big torch.......... my uncle reckons that if you think ur being burgled, don't hit 'em with a baseball bat, as they'll only sue you or something pathetic like that. Hit them with a big torch, like a big-ass Maglite, and just say you tripped over (repeatedley)..............

I don't like the sound of this old fart.

As stated make a really loud racket one day using the generator then video him when he comes out and puts the hosepipe in. Wait for 3-5 mins after he puts it in just to proove that he is putting a lot of water in the garage. Take it to the police and give him what is coming to him.

If you really want to annoy him, after you have video'd him for a few mins, walk out casually - go up to him and be like "hey, yeah so i got you on camera and have contacted the police. your not so smug now are you "

As for the Vtec thing, if you get yourself on to www.itr-dc2.com they will help you out. Been on there a few years myself now, and there are some very knowledgeable people on there. Unfortunately, with the whole Vtec Yo thing going on now and tegs being fairly cheap to buy, there are also quite a few ******* that don't have a clue what they are on about, and spiel all the best bits from Max Power. good luck.

it must have been about half 4 ish, as i met someone for dinner at half 6, so wanted to get a couple more coats of paint on, so a reasonable time.

I just nipped into the garage and its not flooded today! So im in a fairly good mood, lol. He did sit on his wall, where he can see the garage, and just stared at me for the half hour i was there, my friends been there all day, getting his car back together, and told me he did come over and ask where the tap had gone, lol, my friend just told him he didnt know, so the old boy muttered something not very nice under his breath as he walked off. My friend ignored him.

I think ill go and give him his tap back tommorow, and tell him ive got video evidence and a witness (havent really) , and if it happens again ill be going to the police.

Pffff, at that time of day he can't really complain. put the tap back on, but superglue it in place, or do it up really tight with mole grips first.
Can't really go round beating people up, as much as i'd like to sometimes lol.

its defo got to be him, hes basically admitted to it with asking you were the tap as gone, why would he ask a out of the blue question like that if he hasnt been up to no good with it??

hes got nothing better to do especially if he just sits on a wall staring at you (weirdo) i bet he likes the attention just keep the tap, but a stake out is defo a good idea.

does the tap have its own hose pipe attatched?

Put the handel back on, and puncture a few lil holes in it near the tap so when he turns it on he gets soaked.
or loosten the part holding it on so it just falls off when its turned on.

2nd option isnt vandelism.

Paint the tap with gloss, he'll not notice it in the dark and it'll be a bugger to get off.

Super glue wont set on the metal, but will on his hand, that really is a bugger to get off.

anti climb paint isnt hard to get off, my hands were covered in it as a kid.

I put engineers blue paste on a tap someone was turning on near my old flat, now that is bloody hard to get off and guess what they never did it again !

I do realise that they require mains power however you could wire it up to your generator which would also act as bait.

By the way I am not trying to promote wilko's stuff just because I work for them

weld i little washer or somthing inside the tap so no water can come out lol that would cheese him off
