Old or not if he deserves it he has to get what's coming to him, no point letting him make your life a misery but don't do anything that can get you into trouble you've gotta keep your nose clean or he'll have won, you've got to get him at his own game!!!

but the difference is my father is respectful and would not snoop to his levels, and obviously i wouldnt sit back and take it, but if this old man does have a son, then hes welcome to come and have a pop at me. Would you just sit back and take it if you were in my shoes? Ive done nothing wrong! So why dont you ******* off and keep out of this thread, you sound like an old ******* as well!

Im in a bad mood as yet again hes been up to his old tricks, so i have been left with no choice but to take action into my own hands, seeing as the police couldnt give two *******. So dont post b ollocks up like that.

that is quite enough of that thankyou very much. I understand that you have cause to believe that this gentleman is the culprit but without proof anything you do will just put you in the position to be prosecuted.

Also Language like this towards other members of the forum is not tollerated. Consider this a polite warning to control your temper. Midridge2's post was not aimed at you but rather a general comment on the way this thread has progressed. any more and this will be closed and Offical warnings will be issued.

If no one has any sensible comments on how to leagally and without causing any damage to either the gentleman in question or his belonging then please feel free to NOT COMMENT.
Most of the suggestions in here are totally inappropiate even taking into account that the gentleman seems to be gloating over this members misfortune.

Get proof and revisit the plolice. DO NOT TAKE IT INTO YOUR OWN HANDS

have you worked out HOW hes actually managing to flood you garage?

did you not say he lives down the road? that means he either has a really long hose or is really inconspicuous when dragging one down the road.

with all the rain weve been having could it not be a blocked drain flooding?

I am a bit sceptical that the old boy is flooding the garage but i suppose its a possibility!

As someone else posted how do you think he is doing it? surely someone would notice? He does however seem to be having a great time at your expense, whether its him or not, just dont give him any satisfaction either way.

Has he (or even mother nature) blocked a gutter or overflow drain or something (no idea what your garage would have) but worth a quick check.

If you are sure its him however, i would also recommend, camping in the garage one night and try catch him. IF YOU DO THOUGH, keep calm and be civil (although it might be hard). Take a picture or film him.

Im not surprised the cops aren't bothered, but what do we expect them to do - surveillance van?

Oh and just watch out as it could be Jeremy Beadle
