Carlos,

looks fine to me but you will need more than 1L of stonechip lol. I finished up using 7 I think to get a nice coverage.

Inner wings arrived today!

I think it'll take a little while to line these up! I got those funky little clips to use to create a nice gap!

Today we decided to tackle lining these panels up, and it went suprisingly well on the near side

Cutting the excess off, unfortunately the repair panel doesn't consider the lump.

And lining up

Unfortunately I don't have any welding gas so it'll have to stay clamped up until after pay day, I also put the bolts in for the damper mounting point, with some angle iron in between (as I chucked the old mounts out)

The other side looks like this

The car is upside down in this pic, it's going to take a bit of repairing

Thanks Darren, there'll be a little bit of filling to do before I need to worry about colours, I had an idea for a fancy reverse light too, but I'm not convinced it's going to work

Well, I ordered a bottle of gas from Adams Gas on Thursday at about 4.30pm, and it turned up yesterday lunch time!

So i thought I'd better crack on and get the N/S inner wing on.

I struggled a little with the curved bit, but I've got the bracket on the back all welded up too.

Next challenge is to repair the hole on the other side, (but that will need my mates skill)

The calipers are all stripped, they just need a clean with white spirit then I can get them painted and put in the box under the bed!

Carlos,

you have split your calipers I notice, lol, some say it's a no no, but loctite on the bolts and they will be fine. I hope they are going to be a disgustingly loud colour ??

Inner wing came out nicely, how bad is the other side that you can't do it ??

I need his help, he's much better than me!

I couldn't have removed the pistons without splitting the calipers, but as you say, New seals and a spot of loctite and it'll be great!
