Yes mate, it's in the garage too!
I'm collecting my drivers door from my dads this week so I can get the other A-panel on!

Nice project thread. Really should go to bed but I got too involved to stop reading halfway through.
Gonna follow this as I'm looking forward to the finished article.
Glad someone pointed out that the Cooper rear end is for a trailer project. I thought it was your next rebuild project, I did think it would be a bit hardcore

One more bottle should do it, but the 250 quid I spent going to the north this month has wiped out any spare money I had! I'll get another after pay day!Carlos,

My 2nd update in 2 days
I had to finish of the A Post and here it is in all its glory!
Unfortunately the panels don't meet very well at the bottom so filler will be required.
I'm not sure if it's had a repair or if it came out of the factory with the panels stepped?
The next challenge will be getting the car out the garage to turn it around, that may happen tomorrow, weather and wife permitting

After a fantastic weekend at the mini festival I'm feeling all enthusiastic.
I bought a bigger front sprocket for the work hack, so I fitted that and it's made a massive difference, it pulls better, it gives nicer power, 1st is more usable.
On with the deseaming!
The welder was in a bit of a stupid mood, and I'm a bit concerned
See the welding at the top? Anyone any suggestions?
The middle section has been ground down and sanded.
I couldn't do any more grinding as I have run out of ear plugs, besides, the neighbours came back and I am trying to be considerate as possible.
So, on to the door hinges!
I have cleaned them up, replaced the pins in them all, and primered them. The bottom 2 are great, lovely and tight. The top two have loads of play.
Next on the shopping list, 2 top door hinges. I may get in the garage before work tomorrow and finish off the A Pillar

Nice one Carlos. Looks like great progress!
I noticed halfway through reading that you are in Sittingbourne! I grew up there and only moved away from there in 2008!
Can't wait to see more

UPDATE
Hugh and Graham and my weekend at the mini festival are really inspiring me to crack on.
De-seaming of the o/s A pillar is virtually finished
Started trial fitting the A Panel.
First trial looks good, just need to grind the welds back from fitting the door step in order to get it in properly.
Other tasks done today include a load of seam sealing (but I didn't take any pictures of that!)
