I managed to get a pallet today so I can take the mini off the spit and get it onto a wheeled dolly thing!
Just need to get the under side of the car stone chipped and painted

Really good day today!
Stripped all the sound deadening out of the floor, a bit of surface rust under there!
Also noticed this crack in the handbrake mount weld!
Really glad it was spotted, it'd be a little unfortunate if the handbrake came off in my hand!
It's been extra strengthened too!
Also got the fuel tank mounting bracket in, and a few other bits and bobs, unfortunately I kind of forgot to take any more pics!

It will be a few kg lighter as well now.
I didn't weigh it Clive, but I would say about 5kg!
Bearing in mind this is just the rear floor pans and rear seat!

It'd be easier if I went on a diet and lost 2.5 stone!

Todays update!
I had to dig out a couple of 12G940 heads for something, so I used it as a reason to have a bit of a sort out, this has made quite a bit more space!
Then I finished off stripping the rear floors and back seat! The grinder with the twisted cup on can only be used for about 5 minutes at a time without making my arms really hurt! It's so out of balance now.
Anyway, the rear floor has now been rust treated and primered!

Cheers mate, I know there's a long way to go but it feels like a major step forward

I know what you mean.
Before i cleaned up my floors last month and primed them, they looked rough and in poor nic but once i had done it, it looks like a major part of the shell has been finished!
