I could of sold you everything you needed for a megajolt for less than the price of a aldon dissy but it's sold lol
Does look very sexy, making me want a crossflow head now, just for the look of it and sound of it

Pah megajolt,

what you should really do is thorow those carbs in the bin and fit megasquirt.

and a turbo.

Megajolt is essentially a cut down Megasquirt, an open source DIY ECU that does ignition and injection,

Megasquirt is an injection system you can fit to your engine. It would be more expensive, but would give you the most driveable, most powerful, and most efficient end result.

so im almost ready to drop the engine in now, just a few more bits and bobs to do to it first and then i can remove the old unit clean the engine bay up and give it a lick of paint and i need to re do my brake lines as im not happy with the stupid twin line system, so ill be changing it.

but progress is progress

put my alloy mini fins on the back today so thats anouther job done.

althoug i found some rust and alot of it, so ive bought a rear hinge reapir pannel as mini is shocking.

and my drivers side roof is alot worse than i thought so im of scrap yeard to hack saw a mini to bits for the pannel section i require.

as its all the roof courner and down the pannels :( not lookign forward to welding that job

right my new rear hinge pannel has arrived, and that doesnt seem liek to big a job, remove twin tanks and light clusters, and then offer pannel up and mark were it to comes to, make sure i cut bellow and then the boring job of unstitching the rest of it, so i should be able to replace that in one day and keep the car usable.

now ive been thinkign about the roof courner and inner door, ive stil go no idea how to reapir that part of the car :(

also need to think of colours for getting it resprayed.

im torn between atm black tulip or plain old black its self

but im hoping to drop the engine in just running on a 5 port head as my 998 is making some rather odd noises.

and refuses to hold water, im constantly topping it up, seems like the system is over pressursing so im gonna rip the thermostat out, fingers crossed solve the probblem

Get pics up of the rust mate, and we might just be able to help you out.

I've just done the hinge panel, rear valence and debumpered them, in one day, so you should get it done no probs.

For odd bits of rust: cut, patch, and fill.
